Dr. Danielle McCarthy - Veterinarian

Dr. Danielle McCarthy was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She attended St. Mary's Dominican High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from LSU with a major in Animal Science and Technology. She continued her education at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2019.

She has provided veterinary care in New Orleans East for the last four years and is excited to join the team in Chalmette. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Southeast Louisiana Veterinary Association. Dr. McCarthy is passionate about all aspects of veterinary medicine, but her special interests include wellness and preventive medicine, client education, internal medicine, and integrative medicine. She is USDA accredited and Fear Free certified.

In her free time, Dr. McCarthy enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, traveling with her fiancé, playing video games, watching her favorite television shows, and loving her pet cat, Tamsin.
